Julien Bodelet completed his PhD in Statistics in February 2021 at the Research Center for Statistics at the University of Geneva. His thesis focused on semiparametric methods and dimensionality reduction for high-dimensional data. He also holds a Bachelor in Economics and a Master in Statistics from the University of Geneva.

He has worked at the UNCTAD (United Nations) on the development of new statistical methods for building economic indicators for developing countries.

He now works as a post-doctoral researcher with the Social Genomics team of the Jacobs Center. His main area of interests includes high-dimensional statistics, semiparametric methods, clustering, robust statistics, and their applications to genomic, economic, and social data.
