Prof. Ana Costa-Ramón Awarded ERC Starting Grant for SAFECHILD Project

We warmly congratulate Prof. Ana Costa-Ramón on being awarded a prestigious ERC Starting Grant from the European Research Council. ERC Starting Grants are among Europe's most competitive research funding schemes, supporting outstanding early-career researchers with up to € 1.5 million over five years to pursue ambitious and innovative research projects. This year, only 8.8% of the 4'807 submitted proposals received funding.

Prof. Costa-Ramón's project, SAFECHILD (Safeguarding Childhood: Bullying, Online Risks, and Human Capital Formation), will investigate the long-term impact of bullying and online risks on children's educational, career, and mental health outcomes, while also evaluating measures that can help better protect children's well-being.
