Michelle Loher Awarded Prestigious UZH Postdoc Grant 2026

We are delighted to congratulate Michelle Loher on receiving a highly competitive UZH Postdoc Grant 2026 from the University of Zurich. This outstanding achievement recognizes Michelle’s excellent research record and supports the next stage of her academic career through a two-year fellowship.

The fellowship will fund Michelle’s postdoctoral research project: Young Adult Cannabis Use in Context: Developmental Trajectories, Motives, and Patterns – A Cross-National Comparison Between Switzerland and the United States

The project will run for 24 months, starting in 2027, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lilly Shanahan (PI of the Risk and Resilience Research Area).

The UZH Postdoc Grant is a prestigious funding scheme that enables outstanding early-career researchers to develop their independent research profiles and advance their academic careers.
