Réka Borbás completed her Bachelor studies as a psychology student at the University of Szeged (Hungary) and then transferred to the University of Basel receiving her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience in 2017. During her master studies she was involved in developmental neuroimaging studies investigating the structural brain correlates of conduct disorder and callous-unemotional traits in youth. Réka is currently a PhD candidate studying the neural correlates of theory of mind development in a diverse sample of children and their mothers under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nora Raschle. More specifically, her research project focuses on the neural correlates of psychosocial development in association with behavioral and environmental factors in children ages 7 to 14 and their mothers using both longitudinal and cross-sectional study approaches.
