EU LEARN Policy Lab
Evidence in Education Lab of the EU Horizon Project LEARN

The evidence in mind: We believe that the evidence on learning variability and educational inequalities can drive education policy and programs to bigger impacts.
EU LEARN Policy Lab is a platform where scientific knowledge and evidence is synthesized, translated, and made accessible to policymakers, implementers, and the expert community in education. Our mission is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research, policy, and practice, ensuring that every child receives the quality learning opportunities they need to thrive.
The Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development, in collaboration with twelve esteemed European academic institutions and numerous research networks, spearheads the development of the EU LEARN Policy Lab at the University of Zurich. At EU LEARN Policy Lab, the child and their development, learning, and well-being are at the heart of our mission.
We are dedicated to empowering decision-makers and education experts with insights drawn from an expansive array of disciplines and research domains. Our evidence areas encompass the influence of families, schools, and society on the learning variability and development of children and young adults, mental and physical health problems in early childhood and adolescence, and the development of cognitive mechanisms in the context of language acquisition.
